Foundations of a Successful Academic Career Starts September 25, 2017

This dynamic ten-week virtual coaching group for professors is based on my book The Coach’s Guide for Women Professors: Who Want a Successful Career and a Well-Balanced Life.

In addition to offering practical skills and strategies, the group will provide a safe-space in which to discuss common challenges that professors face and share solutions. The format will include presentations, interactive exercises, and group discussion. 

The group starts on Monday, September 25, and runs from 3 – 4:30pm Eastern Time for ten consecutive Mondays via video conference. Sessions take place over the Zoom platform with both audio and video, and will be recorded, so if you have to miss a session, you can catch up later at your convenience.

The cost for the group is $1495 if postmarked by Wednesday, September 20 and paid in full, or $1695 after September 20, and can be paid all at once or in installments.

Although many people self-pay, some people use start-up, research, or professional development funds for the group. We don’t know the specific requirements of any particular funding source, so people generally check that out with their fund administrator. If you would like to ask your institution to cover the cost of the group, I will be glad to send you a sample letter for making a request for financial support.

If you will be using research funds and need us to send an invoice, we will honor the $1495 rate provided that you let us know that you want to enroll in the group by September 20.
